This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit dissecta.app. For the iOS app, see the separate Privacy Policy (Dissecta).

2. No data collection by us

The operator of this website does not collect, store, or analyse personal data from website visitors on their own systems. There is no user account, no contact form that stores data on our servers, no newsletter signup, and no analytics or tracking tools operated by us.

3. Hosting (IONOS)

This site is a static site hosted with IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the site, IONOS processes technically necessary data (in particular your IP address and usual access metadata such as time, requested resource, volume transferred, referrer and browser identification) in server log files, in order to deliver the pages, detect faults, and keep the service secure.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, functional hosting). IONOS acts as our processor; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located in the European Union — hosting therefore involves no transfer of personal data to a third country.

Access and retention: as the site operator, we can access the server log files. We do not analyse them to trace the behaviour of individual visitors, we do not build usage profiles from them, and we do not combine them with other data; our use is limited to narrowing down technical faults and abusive requests. IONOS retains the access logs for a maximum of eight weeks and deletes them afterwards.

4. Cookies, analytics, and embedded services

This website does not set cookies, does not embed analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), and does not load content from advertising or social-media networks.

Nor is any other information stored on, or read from, your device that is not strictly necessary to deliver the website (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG, the German implementation of the ePrivacy Directive). A consent banner is therefore not required.

5. Fonts and local assets

We do not load web fonts from third parties (e.g. Google Fonts). The site uses system fonts already available on your device. Stylesheets, the logo, and other assets are served only from this website. Visiting this site therefore does not create additional connections to third-party font CDNs.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email (e.g. at support@dissecta.app), we process the data you provide (at least your email address and message) to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR. Data are deleted when no longer needed for that purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). To exercise these rights, a message to the address given in section 1 is enough.

The supervisory authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany. You may, however, contact any data protection supervisory authority.

No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place.
